I’m a student journalist based in London, covering politics, popular culture and queer identity. I am studying both audio and video production alongside written journalism at City St George’s, University of London. My elective specialisms include reporting on underrepresented communities and first-person narrative journalism.

Work Experience

Pulse (a medical B2B magazine aimed at General Practitioners)

This placement involved attending press conferences; pitching and writing news lines; interviewing for stories and collating FOI data for longer investigations.

Channel 5 News (broadcast)

This placement involved chasing guests for the show, pitching and organising ‘Hero of the Week’ features, and conducting interviews both remotely and on location.

DIVA (the world’s leading magazine for LGBTQIA+ women and non binary people)

This placement involved pitching and writing stories for both online and print. Pieces ranged from celebrity news to politics and formats ranged from personal essay to reviews.
